With two busy kids, Shay and John’s backyard was starting to disappear under bikes, balls, and outdoor toys – and every winter, the outdoor furniture squabs and umbrellas needed somewhere dry to hibernate. What they needed was storage. What they got was a little more than that.

Using the online Shed Builder, they designed a shed to suit their space – Titania colour, gable roof, and the wooden floor add-on to keep everything off the ground and dry. “It was super easy to put together,” Shay says. “And honestly, it just looks great in the backyard.”

Now the squabs and umbrellas are packed away every winter, Olive and Hudson’s bikes have a home, and football-mad Hudson’s goals and training gear finally live somewhere other than the middle of the lawn.

There’s just one catch. “The kids have completely taken it over as a playhouse,” John laughs. “But that’s fine – at least everything’s tidy, and everyone’s happy. That’s a win in our book.”
